Why You Should Have A Side Hustle Especially When You Are Working Full-time

It’s not about the money

When you are not building for your own brand, you are building for someone else’s.

This applies to all full-time jobs where you are not the boss, unless it’s a family business.

People can say that you’ll learn valuable lessons about human connection and gain transferrable skills. But honestly speaking, you rarely feel like you just did something for yourself in your position as an employee at the end of the day.

That’s why I strongly recommend that you have a side hustle while still working full-time.

The main reason is not that you’ll have another source of income, though it’s pretty sweet.

It’s creating something for yourself that no matter what happens, you’ll still have this pillar to keep you from getting lost.

It’s sprinkling some colors on a monotonous life of an office employee.

It’s having extra interesting things in your life to discuss at your next hangout with friends or family gathering.

It’s feeling whole and fulfilled having done something for yourself before going to bed.

And that’s the right way to end a day.
