I’m Chau Trieu (pronounced like Cho Treal). I am a proud Vietnamese, a foodie, a traveler, a content creator, a writer, a dancer, a yogi, a devoted friend, a filial daughter, and an independent woman.
I got my BA in Communications in September 2020, with a minor in Features & Storytelling. Now I am working as a (content) writer and making a living doing what I love, which is THE DREAM!
From a young age, Literature was the subject I was the best at. I participated in multiple contests and won quite many prizes. Then, during middle school, I developed an interest in English, which enabled me to start writing in two languages. My love for writing began quite early.
In 2017, when I came to The Netherlands to pursue my bachelor’s degree. In my sophomore year, one of the courses I had to take was Creative Writing. The lecturer required us to open a Medium account and upload our final essay here. That was how my Medium page came to life.
Since July 2020, I have been more active on Medium as this is a platform for me to share my stories, express my thoughts and learn from other great authors.
